When our client, Gideon requested a family shoot with him snowboarding with his son, of course we were more than excited to make this happen! Gideon and Reece were making the trip to Lake Tahoe, and they wanted to commemorate the trip and the special bond they share snowboarding. We chose Mt. Rose as the perfect resort that was close to Reno and offered gorgeous backdrops and plenty of beginner runs.
Both my assistant and I snowboarded alongside Gideon and Reece to get the best actions shots! It was a true test of my balance and skills. It was a seriously fun day and we got some incredible photos.
For family portrait sessions, we are all about capturing what families enjoy doing together. It may be skiing, snowboarding, sledding, wake surfing, playing with the dogs in the backyard, playing boardgames, cooking ... really anything!
