When our client, Gideon, requested a family shoot with him snowboarding with his son, of course, we were more than excited to make this happen! Gideon and Reece were making the trip to Lake Tahoe, and they wanted to commemorate the trip and the special bond they share with snowboarding. Knowing this, we couldn't resist incorporating the stunning Lake Tahoe mountains. We chose Mt. Rose as the perfect resort that was close to Reno and offered gorgeous backdrops, plenty of beginner runs, and the breathtaking scenery that makes Lake Tahoe photography so iconic.
Both my assistant and I snowboarded alongside Gideon and Reece to get the best action shots! It was a true test of my balance and skills. It was a seriously fun day, and we got some incredible photos. The adrenaline was pumping as we raced down the slopes, capturing every twist and turn of their epic ride. The thrill of the chase made each shot even more dynamic, and the snow-covered Tahoe mountains provided the perfect backdrop. This session was a blast!
For family portrait sessions, we are all about capturing what families enjoy doing together.
