As women, we spend so much of our lives caring for others, building careers, raising families, overcoming challenges, and navigating all the changes life brings. With all that going on it can become easy to put ourselves last and forget to celebrate just how far we've come.
Our 40 Over 40 Project was created to change that.
This project celebrates the beauty, individuality, strength, and experiences of women aged 40 and beyond. But it's about so much more than stepping in front of a camera. It's about taking a moment for yourself, honoring the person you've become, and sharing the story that made you who you are.
Because turning 40 isn't the end of a chapter. It's a time to celebrate everything you've learned, everything you've overcome, and everything life still has in store for you.
No two lives look the same that's what makes us who we are.
Some have navigated significant challenges, others have discovered new passions, started businesses, raised families, changed careers, or found the courage to begin again.
There is no single definition of strength, beauty, or success. And there is no one right way to experience life after 40.
That's what makes this project so meaningful.
Each participant has the opportunity to share a piece of her personal journey alongside her portrait. Together, these stories become a collection of experiences that remind us how much we can learn from one another, How strong we are, and the impact we make.
Your story doesn't have to be extraordinary by someone else's standards to be worth sharing. Sometimes, the most powerful stories are the ones that remind another woman she isn't alone.
Our hope is that every woman who sees herself reflected in this project feels encouraged to embrace her own journey, celebrate her accomplishments, and recognize the value of her voice.
